Create a stash of printed fabrics in this fun workshop then use them to make a cover for a simple folded book. Left over pieces can be used to start a snippet roll, fabric pot or wall-hanging to be completed at home.
We will use acrylic paints to create textures, patterns and layers both onto fabric and with fabrics. We will experiment with positive & negative images, ghosts and residue prints working with your own favourite colour themes to tie all the techniques together.
A fun experimental print project suitable for everyone interested in working on textiles. No experience needed – come along and have a play! This workshop is taught by Karen Carter - Karen will be teaching four different Gel plate workshops during 2024.
All courses take place in our Bognor Regis Studio.
